De-Odorase is a feed supplement administered to the pet as a top dressing on their feed for control of ammonia odors in their urine, feces and "passing gas."
Natural sarsaponin, the main ingredient of De-Odorase, is obtained by extracting and stabilizing the ingredients of the Yucca plant which controls the ammonia odors by stimulating bacterial use of the ammonia while speeding waste breakdown. De-Odorase will not mask the irritating odors, it will eliminate them. De-Odorase has also proven itself in controlling the odors of pets due to “passing gas,” or the feces and urine odor in their litter boxes or pens. In addition to their regular petpig diets, it is a fact that petpigs need a minimum daily dose of 200 I.U.’s of vitamin E and 0.15 mg of selenium each day. Heartland Animal Health’s all natural PetPig Vitamin E Selenium is the only Vitamin E/Selenium supplement that has been developed specifically for the petpig as a regular and necessary supplement. Cytra-Med
The purpose of Cytra-Med is to provide an acidification program that will lower the pH of the gastro-intestinal tract. Since Cytra-Med inhibits the activity of the (negative) bad bacteria, while providing positive (good) bacteria for its replacement, it is able to totally eliminate or significantly reduce the chances of urinary tract infection in the pet.
When the pH is low it enhances the activity of the good (positive) bacteria. Therefore, during the same treatment, Cytra-Med will provide digestive enzymes and micro-encapsulated digestive bacteria to the digestive system. By lowering the pH with Cytra-Med, it will decrease the bacterial burden within the digestive system, thus relieving the pet of many additional stresses.
