PetPig Colostrum Substitute is a complete nutritional “colostrum substitute” for newborn piglets containing sources of live, viable natural-occurring micro-organisms that need to be substituted when sufficient amounts of colostrums are not available to the piglets because of poor milk letdown or when the sow will not allow the piglets to nurse.
PetPig Colostrum Substitute may be frozen, as a powder, for longer shelf life. It is highly recommended that all breeders and rescuers have PetPig Colostrum Substitute on hand during farrowing in case of emergency.

PetPig Oral Iron Supplement is an iron supplement for newborns. The manufacturing of PetPig Oral Iron Supplement uses a special, chelated process that bonds the available iron, thus allowing the piglet’s system to safely absorb the iron in order to raise and maintain adequate iron levels.
The ideal method of administering PetPig Oral Iron Supplement, to the newborn piglet, is to rub the liquid iron onto the udder of sow. When the piglets move from teat to teat they will slowly absorb the iron thus reducing the chances of any toxic reaction due to excessive amounts of iron. No injections are required when using PetPig Oral Iron Supplement thereby eliminating chance of toxic reaction due to iron dextran.

PetPig Survival Plus contains patented emulsifier liposol, that provides easy and rapid assimilation of the “much needed” energy throughout the pet pig’s body, thus reducing the chances of Capture Myopathy, White Muscle Disease, and Porcine Stress Syndrome, commonly caused by prolonged stress. We recommend feeding one (1) 5 lb. bag of PetPig Creep Feed, starting at 1 week of age then begin PetPig Starter. For orphaned piglets, who had a rough start to life, we recommend starting with (1) 5 lb. bag of PetPig Creep Feed.
PetPig Starter Feed is the piglet’s second highest protein diet after PetPig Creep Feed. PetPig Starter Feed should be started when the piglet is about a week old.
PetPig Starter Feed is a 20% formula containing a balanced amino acid formulation with added vitamin E and selenium for piglets 2 to 4 weeks as they develop the ability to digest a vegetable base food.
Many of the specific nutritional attributes of PetPig Starter Feed include: protein containing properly balanced amino acids needed for muscle growth and development; selenium and natural vitamin E, important in maintaining good health; dried whey, (a milk product), making the product highly palatable to baby pigs; all vegetable protein, to insure long life; and all of the essential vitamins crucial for proper utilization of nutrients. PetPig Starter Feed is available in 10 lb. plastic lined boxes to ensure and maintain quality.
We recommend feeding one (1) 10 lb. box of PetPig Starter Feed and then switch to PetPig Grower Feed. For orphaned piglets, who had a rough start to life, we recommend feeding up to three (3) boxes of PetPig Starter Feed and then switch to PetPig Grower.
